Thanks for posting this link. I saw them once before but forgot who the guy was. I modified my grip the way he showed and it is amazing how much I improved. I wasn't using my support hand properly.

SurvivalBlog is a good source for info. No hype or other BS, just good facts and perspectives. Glad your sharing it here T. Here are a couple of others if anyone is interested. There are many good sites out there. We should start a sticky with some of these sites (not to compete but to compliment GIM of course). Also, for those who have not read the online book "Lights Out", it is a great fictional book that will really get you thinking in the right direction. The sharing of knowledge is imperative in these times. Bx3 :coolbeer:

The vids are great for sport and LE.
Practical?
I carry high cap 9....if I have to draw, it'll be a personal SHTF moment. Prolly not gonna be terribly "with it". Lowest common denominator, as ugly as it sounds, is spray and pray. Doesn't mean I won't try to be tacticool about the situation. I just won't bet on it. Otherwise, threat avoidance works for me.

I train 2 ways.
I have bb/airsoft that approximate or copy what I've got. I carry one "as usual" and practice presentation and first hit on paper plates.
The other is random...real wep response on dogs. We, um, had a problem with them here. I realized how similar the situation was to home invasion response. The key is intermittent and random targets that have to be engaged N-O-W. The same can be done with airsoft and such on any pest if'n ya don't want to kill 'em. Feral dogs suck.

Airsoft is a great way to supplement training and is invaluable in introducing someone new to their 2A rights! :coolbeer:
